2017 Atlantic Canada Pancreatic Cancer Symposium

Objectives: To bring professionals together to discuss current pancreatic cancer research and treatment in Atlantic Canada;
To collaborate, and develop action steps to improve future initiatives.Agenda Topics Include:
- Current climate surrounding pancreatic cancer research, treatment and resources available in Atlantic Canada
- Establishing collaborations among research pillars; basic science, translational research, epidemiology and clinical delivery
- Building a tissue/knowledge bank for pancreatic cancer
- Networking to establish multidisciplinary collaborations to strengthen grant applications
Guest Speakers Include: Dr.Drew Bethune (Lung Cancer Tissue Bank), Robin Urquhart (Translational Medicine), Dr.Ravi Ramjeesingh (Medical Oncology), additional speakers TBA.
